Christina Shirley,  MA Protective, but hot I purchased these pants to go with my Nitro mesh jacket. I assumed they would be breathable, warm weather attire to match the jacket. I was wrong. They will most likely come in handy in the winter, but during the standard warm weather riding season (at least for me!) they are way too hot to be comfortable. There is a liner that does not zip out. To be fair, the pants were not listed as warm weather pants and the liner is listed on the website. I assumed it would be zip-out, it is a permanent liner. If you are looking for cold weather protective pants, these will do the trick. Otherwise, steer clear of these pants.

Karen Martin North Ogden,  UT Vega - Nitro Tourismo Pants The Nitro Tourismo Pants are great. My husband loves them. He already had the jacket and just needed the pants to complete. He bought me a Nitro jacket for Christmas, it's awesome. I just wish I could find the Nitro pants made for women. Do you make the Nitro Tourismo Pants for women. Thank you

Nighthawk Rider Central,  NJ Excellent Winter Pants I gave it a 4 for fit because the cinches don't tighten up as much as I would ideally like. That said they still cinch up enough to provide a good fit. These pants are definitely for colder weather, as everyone else has said. They do not let any rain through. But they also do not let any air through. This is great right now, as it is 30 degrees outside, but I'll be looking for lighter pants for when it's warmer out. The knee pads are a little awkward at first, and need to be broken in properly to be comfortable. They are removable, but why take them out? Pockets are excellent, though I feel like they could have made them a little larger depth-wise. Either way, they hold my wallet and cell phone and keep them completely dry. As for protection, I hope I never find out. But the material is very durable, and looks like it would save you from getting road rash. As for when you're off of your bike, either have a change of pants, or wear these over your main pants. It isn't exactly coolest thing to walk around in, and it will make a lot of noise while walking around.

motodaddy123 vancouver,  WA Excellent brand I bought them a size larger, so I could put them on over my scrubs, and use them as over pants. This is the first motorcycle gear I've bought since I started riding this year. Definitely for cold weather riding, they are wind/rain proof, and warm. Adjustable waist cinches help adjust to whatever I wear underneath. I think these pants are a great deal. Now I need a pair my size!

Joe New Holland,  PA Nice Pants The Vega - Nitro Tourismo Pants are very nice. Durable, warm, waterproof. They are comfortable and are able to be worn in a lot of conditions. I would recommend them to anyone who is going to bike in climate weather.

Joseph Cook Blue Ridge,  GA Satisfied They feel very durable, and I am confident while wearing them. The price is excellent, and they most definitely keep out the wind and rain. Only draw backs are that they could leave more room at the bottom for getting them off easier, the knee pads are pretty bulky but not to the point that they will interfere with your riding, and they will make you sweat during the summer months. They should be excellent for wearing during the cooler months though. I am convinced that they will keep you warm during the winter if you choose to ride during that time of year. I would purchase again.

Doug Brimley,  MI Tough pants and totally waterproof For reference, I am 5-9 or 5-10 and about 170 lbs. My regular pants are anywhere from 30-32 waist and I choose a 32 inseam so the legs don't ride up when I sit. Anyway, I got the Medium Tourismo pant and it fit OK once I cinched up the adjustable belt - hence the '4' for fit. When I am in riding position, both on sportbike and dual sport, the legs are long enough to cover my boots to keep my feet dry. These are warm, totally windproof pants and also are absolutely 100% waterproof. I poured a glass of water on my leg on purpose and it all beaded up and ran right off. The fabric feels tougher than Carhartt stuff. This was one of, if not THE, best clothing buys I've ever made.

Schaeffer Amarillo,  TX Excellent value You can't do much better than these. Great fit, good protection, well-made. The only con I have is that the leg inseam zippers are too short, making dressing & undressing a bit of a chore. Otherwise, they are excellent!

Shorty Pittsburgh,  CA Great pants for the money Outstanding value. Just got to wear them for the first time in 45 degree weather and they would be good for at least another 10 degrees colder. The knee armor is bulky, but I'm going to see if it breaks in. I solved the snap problem using the adjustment straps in an unorthodox way, the right male nylon clip into the left female. Not stylish but not bad. I'm 6'8" 42/34 and the XXXL is a winner!

Mike Bulverde ,  OH review Nicely made, and they are quite warm and windproof. I removed the armor, which made them more comfortable. One beef; the waist cinches do not cross over and secure the snaps, which tend to pop open under the stress of riding. I don't have a jacket that it will zipper to and support the pants, so this is a problem for me. Standard belt loops would have worked better for me.
